We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email, phone number, and athlete or event details when you create an account, book a photographer, or submit content. We also collect usage data (such as device, browser, and interaction data) automatically when you use the IBT platform.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to facilitate bookings and transactions, connect clients with photographers, process payments, deliver purchased media, verify photographer identities, communicate with you about your account, and maintain the safety and integrity of the platform.
3. Payment Processing
Payment information is processed by our third-party payment providers (Stripe). We do not store full credit or debit card numbers on our servers. Transaction metadata may be retained to support bookings, payouts, and dispute resolution.
4. Sharing of Information
We share information with photographers as needed to fulfill bookings and deliver services, and with service providers (such as payment processors and cloud hosting) who help operate the platform. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of IBT, our users, or others.
5. Photographer-Uploaded Content
Photographers may upload event photos, galleries, and athlete information. By submitting content or appearing in content uploaded to IBT, you acknowledge that such media may be displayed in galleries and offered for personal-use licensing as described in our Terms.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Transaction records and content needed for booking fulfillment, payouts, and legal compliance may be retained longer. You may request deletion of your account, subject to applicable legal obligations.
7. Your Rights & Choices
You may update your profile information at any time, manage notification preferences, and request access to or deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us through the platform. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe as required by applicable law.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's Privacy
IBT is intended for use by adults and, where applicable, by parents or guardians booking on behalf of student-athletes. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the platform or by other means. Continued use of IBT after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
11. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
